Like the Pop Art artists who challenged conventions, this cardigan invites you to play with a bold palette.
Illustrated against a vibrant chartreuse green backdrop, this design is adorned with geometric patterns in a dynamic trio of bold orange, luminous cream, and iconic Mackintosh pink, creating a striking contrast. The final touch is a subtle hint of aubergine-colored stitches, adding unexpected depth.
Knitted entirely in the round before the exciting moment of opening with the steek technique, this cardigan is not just a garment; it's a creative adventure.
You can purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which includes both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

NOTES
CONSTRUCTION - This cardigan is worked entirely in the round, from the top down, using the steeking method to create the front opening.
STEEKING - The steek consists of 7 stitches at the center front of the knitting, corresponding to the beginning of the rounds. When working the colorwork pattern, do not weave in your ends in the center of these 7 stitches (or wait until after you have cut the steek to weave them in).
To secure the steek before cutting the front opening, you will find a tutorial with a video here. Once cut, the steek stitches are folded over and secured inside the knit using a thread and a sewing needle.
SHORT-ROWS - For a better fit, the depth of the back neckline is adjusted by a few short rows, worked using the German short-row technique. You will find a tutorial with a video here: Biscotte.org/GSR
This pattern is sold in a digital pdf format: a link to download your pattern will be provided once the order is completed and you will also get this link by email (make sure to check your spams if you can't find the email in your inbox)
