Carrés de Noël | Knitting pattern

This gorgeous scarf, Carrés de Noël, was created by Louise Robert exclusively for the Biscotte 2023 Advent Calendar.

YARN 

• PatricKnits Collection - BIS-SOCK (85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 400 m; 100 g) - shown in Jasmine
• Louise Robert Collection - DOLCE (100% Brushed cashmere; 235 meters ; 50 g) - shown in Absinthe

NEEDLES AND ACCESSORIES 

• Circular needle of 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm; US#3 - 80 cm cable; 32 in.
• Stitch Markers

FINAL DIMENSIONS

GAUGE:

20 stitches x 24 rows = 10 cm; 4" in garter stitch with A & B on 3.5 mm needles after blocking.

23 stitches x 28 rows = 10 cm; 4 in. garter stitch with A on 3.25 mm needles after blocking.

NOTE: This scarf is knit lengthwise, meaning you'll be casting on lots of stitches but knitting few rows. Have no fear if you've never experienced the Marlisle or reversible Fairisle technique! I'll explain how to do it, and you'll see that it's fun and, all in all, pretty easy once you understand the principle.
