Bain de Soleil Shawl Knitting Kit

This shawl is an original design written by Louise Robert and published in June 2019. With this kit, you will knit a soft and warm sunbath to wear all year - especially needed during cold winter!

"The inspiration for this shawl came from the colors themselves (referring to the original kit). Waiting for a spring that was late coming, I had a visceral need for vitamin D. This is how "Bain De Soleil" (which means Sunbath in french) fell from my needles as would a ray of heat on my skin on a summer day." - Louise

ORIGINAL KIT

1. HERMIONE - 1 skein in color Coupe de feu
2. FLAMEL - 1 skein in color Salt & Pepper
3. FIZWIZBIZ - 1 skein in color Bouclier
4. Shawl pattern Bain de Soleil

KIT ROSE NÉON

1. HERMIONE - 1 skein in color Rose Néon
2. FLAMEL - 1 skein in color Cheese Cake
3. FIZWIZBIZ - 1 skein in color Bouclier
4. Shawl pattern Bain de Soleil

KIT SLIME

1. HERMIONE - 1 skein in color Slime
2. FLAMEL - 1 skein in color Gecko
3. FIZWIZBIZ - 1 skein in color Bouclier
4. Shawl pattern Bain de Soleil

In addition to the knitting kit, you will need the following material to knit the shawl:

• Circular needles 4mm; US#6 – cable length of 100 cm; 40’’ and +
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE: 18 sts = 10 cm; 4" in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.

FINAL DIMENSIONS

• Length: 190 cm; 75"
• Height: 80 cm; 31½"
