"The Seascape Socks was inspired by a sweater I designed a few years ago; Seascape Pullover. The Seascape Socks share all the same details I love about the sweater. The cuffs are knit in a twisted rib cable pattern with colorwork throughout the entire sock all to mimc a whale’s tail!" - Andrea
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit Seascape socks:
- Louise Robert Collection – Super Sock (75% Merino Superwash and 25% Nylon, 100 g, 400 m / 438 yds)
- Women's version : MC – Maya: 100g & CC – Impératrice: 50g.
- Men's Version : MC - Traviata: 100g & CC – Gauguin: 50g.
- 4 double-pointed needles (or long circular needles for knitting magic loop) in size 2.5mm (US #1.5).
- Cable Needle
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
- Waste yarn
SIZE – ONE SIZE : Length of foot: adjustable.
GAUGE : 36sts = 10 cm – 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch
NOTE : The Seascape Socks are knit from the top down with a twisted rib cable pattern that is just on the front of the cuff and an allover Stranded Colorwork pattern. There is two heel technique available in this pattern, one is suggested for the women's version and the second one for the men's version.

Super Sock (couleur Traviata et Gauguin), aiguille 2.5.
Ces bas tricotés pour mon conjoint m’ont donné du fil à retorde. J’ai suivi les instructions avec le talon double comme suggéré pour une taille homme. Arrivé presque au bout de pied…oups trop petit! J’ai recommencé du début mais avec 72 mailles cette fois. J’ai trouvé plus difficile de tricoter avec un motif sous le pied en même temps que les diminutions après le talon. Heureusement finalement le résultat est beau.
Très bons service.......Patrons claires, bien écrits et vraiment agréables à faire.
