Our watermelon yarn is hand-dyed in our workshop on fingering superwash merino wool.
Made of 95% merino and 15% nylon, this delicious Bis-sock self-striping yarn is the ultimate sock yarn!
When you knit or crochet with watermelon self-striping yarn, it creates a striped watermelon design on its own (seeds included!) without you having to do any yarn color changes.
The way we dye our watermelon yarn is very unique : we make sure to create a nice gradient look between colours stripes so color changes won't fall in the middle of rows or round.
To maximize effect of watermelon self-striping yarn, you might use it for knitwear with small circumference such as socks, mittens, hats and scarves. One skein will be enough to knit a pair of adult standard socks.
