Here is the Latest design of, the Poplar Bud Socks!
The Poplar Bud socks are toe-up socks that use short rows to shape the reinforced heel turn. Knitters can choose between working a regular or reinforced toe.
The sock features an interesting motif made with small 1/1 crosses that runs up the leg of the sock. While this pattern is written for double point needles, it can easily be converted to whatever needles you like to use for your socks - small circumference circulars, Magic Loop, or two circular needles.
We offer this model only as a kit.

NOTE
Please read the entire pattern before starting your socks! For best results, work a swatch in pattern/in the round to ensure you are happy with gauge, and adjust needle size accordingly. There are lots of tricks to avoiding holes at the edges of your heels, including picking up an extra stitch at the join between the foot and the heel and knitting it together with the stitch closest to it, or picking up a ladder, or knitting into the stitch below. A quick Google search will turn up all sorts of possibilities. Pick the one you like and run with it!
ENJOY! ♥
