This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns, Louise Robert Design, meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color palettes that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

Sarrasin is the french word for buckwheat. When I was little, sometimes on Saturday mornings, my mother would cook buckwheat pancakes for me. It was a special breakfast for special mornings. Buckwheat brings back fond memories of my childhood - Louise

• Composition: 50% Merino SW, 50% Silk
• Quantity: 50 grams, 1.75 oz
• Yardage: 400 meters (437 yds)
• Gauge: 32 stitches = 10 cm (4 in)
• Needles: 2 - 3 mm (US #0 - 2.5)
• Washing Care: Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
