This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns, Louise Robert Design, meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color palettes that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

JOCONDE is the work of the great Leonardo Da Vinci that I had the honor of seeing at the Louvre during a school trip as part of my studies in Art History. My meeting with the Mona Lisa was quite the event for me as an art student. I have wonderful memories of her. - Louise

• Composition: 50% Merino SW, 50% Silk
• Quantity: 50 grams, 1.75 oz
• Yardage: 400 meters (437 yds)
• Gauge: 32 stitches = 10 cm (4 in)
• Needles: 2 - 3 mm (US #0 - 2.5)
• Washing Care: Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.

You can use this yarn by itself to knit a lace-weight shawl, or you can double it with Kid Silk (or Petite Suri) to achieve a fingering or sport-weight gauge. The possibilities for colors and textures are limitless!
