Julie's Flowers and Les Couleurs de Audrey Socks - Knitting pattern and Optional kits

The Julie's Flowers and Les Couleurs de Audrey Socks by PatricKnits is a standout design from our mystery sock club collection.

This pattern was designed entirely in the spirit of Vancouver’s Stanley Park. Our shop, located in the Gastown neighborhood, brought us to knit in this iconic park. When creating this pattern, I knew I wanted to incorporate an element of the park, but I wasn’t sure which one yet! It was Julie who suggested using the flower motif she had included in her own pattern. So there you go: a sock design inspired by Vancouver’s Stanley Park, Julie’s flowers, and the color my daughter Audrey created. The pattern was also reviewed and corrected by my wonderful wife, Louise Robert! - PatricKnits

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles (with cable length of 80cm (32'') for magic loop) of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
  
• Cable needles
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

SIZES - ADULT S-M (L-XL)

• Shoe sizes correspondence: US 7 to US 8 (US 9 to US 10)
• Circumference (unstretched): 18 (22) cm / 7 (9) in.
  

The foot length is adjustable.

GAUGE

32 sts x 40 rows = 10 cm (4") in Stockinette St.

NOTE

This pattern is worked from the top down and can be worked using a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. If using double-pointed needles, please distribute half the stitches onto needles 1 and 2, and the other half onto needles 3 and 4. Immediately after the ribbing, a colorwork pattern featuring flowers is added, followed by a lace stitch depicting a cascade of stylized leaves that extends all the way to the toe.
