Some facts about cashmere: 

• It is spun from the fine undercoat of Kashmir goats.
• Unlike sheep's wool, cashmere is entirely lanolin-free, making it hypoallergenic.
• It is also up to 8 times warmer than regular wool. 
• Cashmere is up to 6 times thinner than human hair, making it extremely soft. 
• Its fibers are hollow, making for a very light textile.
