IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles | Main Fabric | of 4.5mm (7 US) - cable lenght of at least 75 cm (30'') or more - or the size required to obtain the gauge.
• Circular needles | Ribbing | of 4mm (6 US) - cable lenght of at least 75 cm (30'') or more - or the size required to obtain the gauge.

This tee is knit top down starting with the back and then picking up stitches in the cast on edge of the back for the front. There is a little short row shaping for the neckline and for the hem. The tee is joined to knit in the round after the front and back pieces are the desired length. After the tee is knit there is no need to pick up stitches for the neckline or the cuffs of the sleeve. Once casting off at the hem the tee is complete!! Andrea’s Tee is meant to be worn with 8 – 10 inches of positive ease.                 

GAUGE

22 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm (4'') in Stockinette Stitch.

*Fabrics knitted with a silk yarn tend to stretch a lot when wet. Therefore it is imperative to check your gauge after washing / blocking. Also, if you hesitate between two sizes, opt for the smaller one.
