It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

PARCHEMIN for me is synonymous with the transmission of knowledge, ancient knowledge and history. I have always been drawn to history in general. I am curious, and I like to know the details of past centuries and how our ancestors lived before us. - Louise

  • Composition: 70% Merino wool, 30% Hemp
  • Quantity (Weight): 100 grams, 3.5 oz
  • Length: 300 meters (328 yds)
  • Gauge: 22 - 24 stitches = 10 cm (4 in)
  • Needles: 3,5 mm (US #4)
  • Care: Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Machine dry: This yarn has the property of stretching a lot when wet and regaining its shape when machine dried. If, after several washes/machine dryings, you notice that the garment has shrunk a bit, spray it with a little water and dry it flat, stretching it to the desired dimensions.

J’attendais depuis quelques temps la bonne occasion de réaliser un projet avec le fil Granula. J’adore la texture et la teinte Écume que j’ai choisie.
Toutefois, le châle que je viens tout juste de terminer avec le patron Summer Butterfly est une totale déception. Ça n’est pas du tout le rendu que j’en attendais. Si vous le voulez pour l’exposer en magasin, je veux bien vous l’apporter car après plus de 3 semaines à y consacrer mon temps libre, au final je ne le porterai pas. Sinon je le défais complètement pour reprendre avec un autre patron, ce qui serait dommage vu le travail que ça demande quand même…
