Sock pattern "the Owls' Bowels"
This model of stockings featuring owls perched on the branches of a tree was created for the Sock Mystery Knitting Club of August 2012!
In addition to the knitting pattern you will need the following material to knit these stockings (also available as a knitting kit):
1 skein of Biscotte Yarns - Bis-Sock colour "Vanilla"
30g of Biscotte Yarns - Bis-Sock Self-striping colour "Fowl, Bowl, Owl"
a 2.5 mm circular needle (or the size needed to obtain the sample)
20 beads of size 6/0 and a hook or other instrument to bead the stitches.
Sample of 32 stitches = 10 cm in jersey on needle of 2.5 mm
Sizes small (medium, large). Reference: shoes #US 6-7 (7.5-8.5, 9-11)
This pattern is knitted from the tip of the foot on a circular needle using the "magic-loupe" method whereby half of the stitches are on needle 1 and the second half on needle 2.
You can also use double-pointed needles and divide your stitches into 2 equal halves to follow the explanations of the pattern.
This pattern is sold in PDF format: a download link will be sent to you by email when you have completed your order. Good knitting!
UPDATE 2017-03-07 The grids of the pattern have been revised and corrected and the layout of the pattern has been redone in order to condense the model into 4 pages rather than 5.
