Here’s a fun stocking hat pattern that’s sure to add style and cheer to all your outfits! Originally designed in 2015 using Albus yarn, a nowdiscontinued yarn from Biscotte Yarns, I’m happy to offer you this updated version made with the beautiful Merino Worsted yarn from my collection. Happy knitting! - Louise Robert

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

• The Albus Hat knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.

• BISCOTTE YARNS - ALBUS [50% merino wool, 50% silk; 150 m per 100g] - 2 SKEINS - shown in
  • 1x (MC) Épinette
  • 1x (CC) Vert Biscotte

** Albus yarn is no longer available, but it can be substituted with:

• MERINO WORSTED [100% Merino wool sw; 200 m per 100g] - 2 SKEINS - shown in
  • 1x (MC) Belle Brume
  • 1x (CC) Rodin
• HAGRID [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 165 m per 100g] - 2 SKEINS

YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

• Circular needles of 5 mm (US 7) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Stitch markers (4)
• Tapestry needle
  

SIZE - ADULT ONE SIZE

One size fits all.

Headband circumference (ribbed section), unstretched: 40 cm (16 in).

GAUGE

16 stitches = 10 cm (4'') worked in the round, in stockinette stitch.

NOTE

There is no need to cut the yarn when changing colors; carry the unused yarn inside the work.
