Wave the Way Socks | Knitting pattern and Optional kit

The Wave the Way Socks by Andrea Yetman is a standout design from our mystery sock club collection.

These socks are worked from the cuff down with an easy-to-memorize pattern on the front of the leg, with a Forethought Heel.

Self-striping yarn is one of my favorite materials to work with. It’s so satisfying to see the colors change without having to weave in any ends. I wanted to incorporate texture while using stitches that would interact with the yarn. It’s enjoyable not just to watch the color changes, but also to see how the pattern creates waves. THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

• The Wave the Way Socks knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• BISCOTTE YARNS - BIS-SOCK [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 400 m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN (in self-striping colorway) - shown in Dune sauvage

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles (with cable length of 80cm (32'') for magic loop) of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Stitch markers
  
• Tapestry needle

SIZES - JUNIOR (ADULT SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE)

The length of the foot is adjustable.

GAUGE

36 stitches = 10 cm (4'') in Stockinette Stitch.
