Discover Andrea Yetman's new sock pattern. Frosted Branches socks are knitted with Louise Robert's Super-Sock and Bis-Sock.

"Inspired by a cold winter’s day when the sun hits the ice that glistens the tree’s branches. There is such beauty and inspiration in nature. I‘ve always been inspired by nature and knew I needed to find a way to incorporate these frosted branches into my socks so I could be reminded of it everytime I wore them. The little tree motifs are created using simple knit and purl texture while the clear beads added the perfect amount of frosting. These can also be made into adorable holiday socks using classic holiday colors topped off with colorful beads! These socks were so much fun to design and I hope they bring you as much joy as they have brought to me :)" - Andrea Yetman

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Frosted Branches socks :

SIZE – ONE SIZE : Length of foot: adjustable.

GAUGE : 36sts = 10 cm – 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE : The Frosted Branches Socks are knit from the top down with 4 tree motifs around the top of the leg, contrasting heels and toes using 2 different colors and topped off with beads! Heel options are the Forethought Heel or the FLK Heel (link provided) or you can always substitute in your favourite heel of choice. Check out this tutorial for placing a bead.

Frosted branches
