The "Pinwheel" is knitted in a circle starting from the centre and in also dividing 8 increases, one round out of two. Since the knitting is small in circumference during its making, you can choose to start your "Pinwheel" on double-pointed needles or use the magic-loop method. If you are using double-pointed needles, also plan a circular needle to cover the increasing circumference of your knitting.
Except for the marker that identifies the start of turns, it is not mandatory to use other stitch markers. When you have understood the sequence of increases, the markers may not seem to be as practical to you.
This pattern is written in "single size", that is to say that it adapts to all sizes and physionomies. For information, you will find the details of the model shown at the end of the pattern.
Required materials:
- Biscotte - Griffon yarn (details at the end of the pattern)
- Circular needles (and double-pointed needles, if necessary) of 6 mm. Choose the longest possible cable (I used Chiaogoo interchangeable needles with a cable connector to join two lengths of cables together towards the end of my knitting).
- 8 stitch markers (provide 1 marker different from the others to identify the start of turns).
This pattern is offered free of charge (yes it's free !!). If you need help to download a knitting pattern on our website, you will find a tutorial to show you how to do so HERE.
