Double Dk Scarf - FREE KNITTING PATTERN

Here is the timeless scarf designed by Louise Robert. This scarf is knitted with 2 skeins of different colors of Ancient Art yarn - Nettle Soft. Choose 2 skeins of contrasting colors from our entire collection of hand-dyed yarn - DK Pure or from Louise Robert's Dk Pure colors. 

"Being unable to choose my favourite colour between these two beautiful skeins of Nettle Soft, I solved my “big problem” by creating this pattern. 😉

If like me, you find yourself at a dead end when faced with so many beautiful colours; I invite you to knit this two-tone scarf with reversible cables. In addition to the knitting pattern, you have the following material to knit the Double Dk scarf: 

• Yarn Ancient Art - Nettle Soft [68% Merino superwash, 32% nettle, 240 meters/100g]. 
• one skein of colour Antique (A)
• one skein of colour Bien (B)
• Needles of 4.5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE : 24 sts = 10 cm in 1 x 1 ribbing

FINAL SIZE: 47 inches long x 6 inches width

NOTES: This scarf is reversible and is knitted from one end to the other in cabled ribbing so that it looks as beautiful on both sides.
