Clochette Sweater | Knitting Pattern and Optional Kits

After admiring a beautiful sweater knitted by @Loopystudio, I decided to create my own pattern, which I have titled "Clochette" after Tinkerbell, the charming fairy from the famous Peter Pan fairy tale! To knit your Clochette, I invite you to choose vibrant colors that will bring joy and brightness to the days you wear it. This pattern is created by holding together a fingering-weight yarn and a fluffy "kid silk" lace-weight yarn. It’s an ideal project for using up leftover yarn! Please refer to the total grams and meterage required below to knit a version tailored to your preferences, or you can follow the instructions provided in the pattern to create an identical version to the one illustrated. - Louise Robert

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDE

• The Clochette Sweater knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• YARNS:

*The Fizwizbiz version model was knitted in size D with the following Fizwizbiz version yarns

*** Note that some letters (such as B) are missing. All yarns were identified before starting work and some were not used. To avoid transcription errors, I have preferred to leave the original references.

IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles (and DPN) | Main Fabric | 5 mm (US 8) - cable length of 80 cm (32'') and preferred needles for small circumference knitting - or the size required to obtain the gauge.
  
• Circular needles (and DPN) | Ribbing | 4 mm (US 6) - cable length of 80 cm (32'') and preferred needles for small circumference knitting - or 1 mm less than the size required for the main fabric.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
  
• Stitch holder or scrap yarn
• Small Ziploc bags to identify each ball of yarn and prevent them from mixing together in your project bag! (optional)
• Scale (optional) 

SIZES - A (B, C, D, E) (F, G, H, I) 

Final bust circumference: 83 (86, 93, 97, 102) (110, 113, 122, 135) cm; 32.5 (34, 36.5, 38, 40) (43.5, 44.5, 48, 53)". Refer to the diagram on page 8 for details. 

GAUGE

26 sts & 22 rows = 10 cm; 4" in stockinette stitch before blocking on 5 mm needles.

NOTE

CONSTRUCTIONS - This pattern is worked from top to bottom and is designed to be worn with a positive ease of +/- 10 cm; 4".

NECKLINE - The edge of the neckline is folded over to create a round, fleshy edge. There are two ways to execute the neckline. Sewing method: once the work is finished, attach the cast-on row to the inside of the knitted fabric. Alternative method: on round 9, under the stitch on the left needle, pick up the corresponding stitch from the cast-on row and knit this stitch with the stitch on the left needle.

COLOR PATTERN - This pattern is knitted entirely by doubling both types of yarn (fingering + kid silk), which I'll call "duo", and always alternating two duos per round on every stitch. Therefore, each round will be knitted by repeating [knit 1 with duo-1, knit 1 with duo-2].

YARN USE - In the yarn required section, you'll find the total amount of yardage required for each size. So you can use your own colors and knit a personalized version that represents you. If you'd like to knit a version identical to mine, shown in size E, I've carefully noted each color used on each round in the appendix. Sizes F to I: since the depth of the bust (yoke) is different for each size, you'll have to improvise for a few rounds before separating the sleeves from the body. Because of the frequency of thread changes in the project, and to lighten the text, there's no mention of cutting the thread at each color change: this is left to your discretion.

TIP: I kept each yarn in a "Ziploc" bag on which I wrote the letters associated with the yarns & colors, as well as the starting weight, for easy tracking throughout the process.
