Hagrid is a soft & warm tweed hand-dyed yarn made of merino and donegal neps!

Here is the heavy worsted weight version of of lovely Sirius.

  • Composition: 85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon
  • Quantity: 165 meters (180 yards) 100 g skein
  • Suggested needles: 4,5 - 5,5 mm (US #7 - 9)
  • Gauge: 18-20 stitches = 10 cm

The modern touch to classical tweed

I have been waiting for an opportunity to try this beautiful yarn. I'm a fan of a nice tweed and Hagrid doesn't disappoint. The colorway I chose, Prune has pretty taupe flecks and the fabric that comes out is heavenly. Highly recommended.

Une découverte

J'ai choisi Hagrid vert biscotte pour tricoter le Cosy Corner Pullover. C'est une découverte : je me rends compte que non seulement la texture d'une laine me donne beaucoup de plaisir en tricotant mais également la couleur...et ce vert biscotte est tellement suave pour les yeux....Ou peut-on trouver d'aussi riches couleurs sinon que chez Laines biscottes? Bravo pour cette idée géniale que vous avez eue de faire vos propres teintures!
