Arsinoi features a long straight silhouette, inspired by the straight and cosy, oversized shapes, typical of the 1920s, deep armholes and V-neck.

  • Biscotte Yarn - DK PURE (90% merino wool sw, 10% silk; 260 meters / 284 yards per 115g skein). 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) skeins - Shown in color Purple

To fit bust 71-76 (81.5-86.5, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 112-117, 122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-157.5) cm / 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62) in.

Bust finished circumference: 86 (96, 106.5, 116.5, 126.5, 137, 147, 157, 167) cm / 33.75 (37.75, 42, 45.75, 49.75, 54, 57.75, 61.75, 65.75) in.

GAUGE:

23 sts and 35 rows = 10 cm /4 in. worked in cable patt using size 4 mm / US 6 needles

NOTE: The vest is worked in pieces, beginning with a band of double ribbing that gives way to richly cabled panels inspired by Celtic designs. The armhole-borders & v-neck border is worked with single ribbing. The back and front are worked flat from the bottom up and sewn together.

Arsinoi vest

Hi - I ordered this pattern, I had a bit of trouble figuring out the cable pattern Patrick & Lisette were very helpful in trying to help me with the pattern. I haven't started it as yet, I am thinking maybe it might be a bit too difficult for me.. thanks Barbara
