TAPESTRY Shawl Pattern

Discover the beautiful Tapestry shawl by Takako Takiguchi knitted with our Dk Pure.

Tapestry shawl is a triangle shawl with 3 colors blocks. The constructions is very simple. It is worked flat and increased 3sts by casting on every 4 rows, then decreased 3sts every 4 rows until the end. It’s nice to see the shawl growing like stairs and we can enjoy the color changes by each stair.

In addition to the knitting pattern, you need the following materials to knit the Tapestry shawl:

• Biscotte Yarns – DK pure (90% Merino Superwash and 10% Silk, 238m/260yds per 100g skein). C1- Gris-Gris : 1 skein, C2- Une chance qu'on s'a.: 1 skein & C3- Aigue Marine : 1 skein
• 3.5mm Circular needles (US #4) - Cable 80cm (32”)
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE : 20sts and 26 rows = 10cm in Stockinette Stitch & 18sts and 26 rows = 10 cm in Garter Stitch

SIZE (see schematic at the end of pattern for more details)

• Wingspan: 119 cm / 47in.
• Length: 86 cm /34 in.
• Width: 145 cm / 57in.

NOTE : Please weigh the yarns you’re using before starting. Use the first half of the amount for the Increase Section and the other for the Decrease Section. Please note if the amounts are different by each yarn, use the smallest one as a reference.
