Introducing one of our most popular sock designs with new color kits, Les Moutons de Biscotte Socks! 🐏
Les Moutons de Biscotte (meaning Biscotte's sheep in French) was created by Louise Robert in 2012 and has been knitted hundreds of times since its release.
Over a decade later, we are happy to offer you an updated version of our kits, including our hand-dyed self-striping yarn!
The pattern is designed for fun, allowing you to combine our self-striping yarns with our semi-solid colors and watch the adorable sheep appear along the way. It's an ingenious way to combine your love of knitting, wool, and sheep in one project!
You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!
THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDE
- The Les moutons de Biscotte Socks knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
- MC | BISCOTTE YARNS - BIS-SOCK [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 400 m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN (in self-striping colorway) - shown in Heureux d'un printemps for kit 1, California Sunshine for kit 2 and Un peu beaucoup for kit 3.
- CC | BISCOTTE YARNS - BIS-SOCK [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 400 m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN (in semi-solid colorway) - shown in Nature for kit 1 and kit 2, and Twilight for kit 3.
IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL
- DPN or Circular Needle of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
- DPN or Circular Needle of 3 mm (US 2.5) - or size required to obtain th e gauge.
- Tapestry needle
SIZES
Adult circumference: Small/Medium (Large/Large/T-Large); foot length is adjustable.
GAUGE
- 30 stitches = 10 cm (4") in stranded colorwork with 3 mm (US 2.5)
- 32 stitches = 10 cm (4") in stockinette stitch with 2.5 mm (US 1.5)
