YORK is a city in the north of England founded by the Romans, and one of the major cities of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom. In addition to its historical monuments dating back to the Middle Ages, this city still enforces medieval law. A law allowing the murder of a Scotsman who carries bow and arrow within the city walls is still permitted to this day. Rich in its Roman, Celtic and Nordic history, York is exactly the type of city that excites my curiosity and that I would love to visit one day.- Louise
