It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

Eugène DELACROIX was a leader of the French Romantic school. The frequent use of warm and orange tones in his paintings was a deliberate artistic choice, fueled by his Romantic sensibilities, his fascination with the "Orient," and his sophisticated understanding of color's emotional and optical effects. He once said, "Everyone knows that yellow, orange, and red suggest ideas of joy and plenty." This sentiment is exactly what comes to mind when I see this colorway. - Louise
