Posie Doll - KNITTING KIT

The new pattern by Manon Lemaire of Hazel & Poppy Studio ''Posie Doll'' is a small bouquet of flowers, or a single flower. Play with colour and texture as a variety of combinations are suggested in this fun and unique doll pattern.

The doll is knit in the round. The petals, tunic and hair are knitted flat. The arms and flower petals are worked first, then knitted with the body. There is minimal sewing. Instructions guide you through each step, are very detailed, and offer a lot of visual support. Manon has included many video and photo tutorials in the instructions to help you.

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING YARN NEEDED TO KNIT THE POSIE DOLL

YARN 

Biscotte Yarns Dk Pure (90% SW merino wool, 10% silk; 115 grams for a length of 260 meters / 284 yds ) 

We have build a special kit with 100 gr (226 meters/247 yards total (BODY)

• Blé: 22g
• Gold: 38g
• Porcelaine: 18g
• Cantaloup: 22g

Plus:  Louise Robert collection Kid Silk (75% kid silk, 25% mohair; 210 m / 25 g)

HAIR

• Gauguin: 12.5g

The kit also includes 7.5mm eyes (color may differ from picture) 

Please note that winding is not available for this kit - with the exception of Kid Silk that will come wound.  

IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL TO KNIT THIS FLOWER DOLL. 

PATTERN

As mentioned previously, the Posie Doll knitting pattern is not included in this knitting kit. It must be acquired separately from Ravelry.

NEEDLES

• 1 set 2.75mm / US #2 double pointed needles for working in the round
• 1 set 2.75mm / US #2 needles for working flat
• 1 set 3mm / US #2 1/2 needles for working flat
