Baia Pullover - Knitting kits

Here is the Baia Pullover, a top-down and seamless pattern by Mirva Scilova.

The colorwork is worked from the chart. The yoke depth is customizable. The upper back is shaped with German short rows. After separating the sleeve sts, the body is knit in the round to the hem. Straight to cuff sleeves are worked last.

Italy has a long history that is visible in many places. For the farmers it seems normal that when they dig their fields a bit deeper, they find pieces of Etruscan objects buried in the ground. The construction works are often suspended because some old buildings are found underground. One of the treasures from the old times are the mosaics and frescoes. Particularly Sicily is known for towns full of beautiful mosaics. In Pompeii and Herculaneum one can visit the remains of the ancient buildings with mosaics on the floors and walls. But there are also some even more hidden treasures. Underwater archeological park of Baia has some amazing mosaics that can be visited by scuba diving. *Care: Machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water. Tumble dry: Hemp has the unique property of stretching significantly when wet and returning to its original shape when tumble dried. If, after several washes and tumble dries, you notice that the garment has shrunk slightly, lightly mist it with water and then lay it flat to dry, stretching it to the desired dimensions.
