Verea hat & scarf KNITTING PATTERN

Here is the perfect hat & scarf set designed by Lindsey Faciane knitted with pure Dk yarn and Suri Alpaca yarn from the Louise Robert Collection. 

 The Verea set highlights the textures of Suri Alpaca yarn and Dk Pure from the Louise Robert Collection.

To make both Hat and Scarf, you will need 3 skeins Dk Pure of MC and 3 skeins Suri Alpaca of CC.

• Louise Robert Collection – DK Pure (90% Merino Superwash and 10% Silk, 260 m / 284 yds, 115 g /4 oz), MC – Oatmeal: 1 skein.
• Louise Robert Collection – Suri Alpaca (100% Suri Alpaca, 210 m / 218 yds, 50 g / 1.75 oz), CC - Fontainebleau: 1 skein.
• SCARF

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS

• HAT
• Size 4.5 mm / US #7 circular needle with cable length 40 cm / 16 in. or your favorite needles to work small circumferences, using the size needed to get the gauge.

• Size 4.5 mm / US #7 needles OR the size needed to get the gauge.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Skills needed for Hat: 2-color knitting in the round; working and decreasing in the round.

Skills needed for Scarf: I-cord cast-on, I-cord bind-off, 2-color knitting in rows.

GAUGE : 22 sts x 42 rows = 10 cm / 4 in over Hat stitch pattern in the round after blocking or Scarf stitch pattern after blocking.

For best results, get the gauge.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

HAT : Approx 51 cm / 20 in circumference and 25.5 cm / 10 in tall after blocking.

SCARF : Approx 224 cm / 88 in long and 21 cm / 8 in wide after blocking.
