Sunday Best Sock pattern

Originally released as the January 2022 sock club project, we are happy to offer you this beautiful sock pattern by Andrea Yetman knitted with Louise Robert hand-dyed Super Sock yarn ♥

Simple yet elegant these socks remind me of what is referred to as “your Sunday best! “For me, socks are my comfort knitting. So having a pattern that is easy to memorize but also engaging is very important.

Craving a sea of Stockinette Stitch I kept this design very minimal with an eyelet cuff which then continues down only on the outer sides of the sock. Whether it's for the delicate details or the joy of working on them I will always refer to these socks as my Sunday Best!

IN ADDITION TO THIS SOCK PATTERN, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL TO KNIT THESE SOCKS:

• Louise Robert Collection – SUPER SOCK (75% merino; 25% nylon)
• 1 x 100g skein (438 yds) Super Sock in York
• 4 double-pointed needles (or long circular needles for knitting magic loop) in size 2.25mm.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Row counter (optional)

SIZE – ONE SIZE (Length of foot: adjustable)

GAUGE: 36 sts = 10 cm – 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE: The Sunday Best Socks are knit from the top down with a heel flap and gusset. The instructions are written for a right and left leg so that the eyelet pattern is on the outer side of each sock. Follow the same instructions for both socks in all sections EXCEPT for the leg portion.
