SOUS-BOIS, or undergrowth, is the short forest vegetation that grows between the ground and the bottom branches of the trees. For me, the undergrowth represents calmness, freshness, and the smell of grass, moss and bark that I love to breathe in during my walks through the woods. There is no better smell in the world than that of the forest!- Louise
