This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.

At FONTAINEBLEAU in France, a prestigious castle has been erected which has been the home of several sovereigns over the past centuries. As part of a university trip to France, I had the chance to visit this place in which successive hosts ranging from François 1er to Napoleon III. This visit was a highlight of my trip when my imagination was at its peak, thinking of all the lives that had been animated between these walls. – Louise

laine super douce

Merci!

A pleasure to knit

I bought this yarn to knit a shawl. It knits like a dream and this colour is perfect for a spring/summer garment. The pattern I was using called for more yarn than I actually needed but that just meant that, lucky me, I was able to also knit a pair of socks from the remaining yarn.
