An original pattern by Katrin Schubert for Biscotte Yarns, the Spiral Brioche Hat is a spiral shaped winter hat worked in two-color brioche knitting, inspired by Snail Hat by the wonderful Elizabeth Zimmermann and featuring a self-striping yarn in the foreground and a color in the background.
Pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and young knitters. The hat can be knit in multiple sizes (S, M, L) shown sample hat in size M.
Repetitive increases and decreases are worked every 4 rows only, giving the hat its unusual shape. Stripes appear by using the self-striping yarn.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up (brim to crown) with two-color brioche.

Ce patron m'a donné un peu de fil à retordre, mais la persévérance vient à bout de tout. Les vidéos et explications sont très utiles et bien faites.
Ce point Que ja ne connaissais pas m’a donné beaucoup de difficultés , mais les vidéos associées étaient les bien venues pour y arriver.

J'adore ce patron! J'en ai donc profité pour me procurer un "kit" pour en faire un avec votre belle laine... W-O-W!!! Je capote! En plus - avis aux intéressé(e)s - après avoir terminé une tuque grandeur standard, il me reste 79 gr de chaque balle, donc plus de la moitié, ce qui veut dire qu'il m'en reste assez pour faire une seconde tuque! Ou un col, ou des mitaines... Je ne suis pas inquiète, je me trouverai bien un p'tit projet... Et puis c'est tellement doux... Je l'adore!
